Sketchbooks

Sketchbooks are an important element in Margaret Borthwick's art. She uses them to record details  seen on walks and develop ideas. She is fascinated by artists' sketchbooks especially those of Duncan Shanks, Victoria Crowe and Graham Sutherland.

Margaret continues to sketch regularly often with a friend who is a professional storyteller.
